One year on, and I have finally seen a rabbit in Amsterdam. Amstelpark is full of them. Granted, they look and act like domestic rabbits but still--floppy, hoppy bunnies. Next assignment: find a squirrel.

Have a seat...

Sjakie's moving out of town and his dogwalker asked for a photo.

The Happy Courier

This tableau appears over the doorway of a random building on SintAntoniesbreestraat. I'm guessing at one time it was a post office or courier service. I love how everyone appears to be floating.

Fiets Band met Vleugels

The Dutch do love their bicycles. Decorative carving on the side of a building, on Nicolaas Witsenkade.

Bonus: a bicycle pump, to keep the tire inflated.

A Duck Out of Water

I'll Take What They're Having

These week-old roses are still unfurling perfect petals. No magical preservatives have been dissolved in the water, and I haven't caught them injecting performance-enhancing steroids.

Doggie Bags

Definitely not the kind you take home and put in the fridge. These are poop disposal bags. Love the "loo" in the name.
