Mitchell Corn Palace
Every year since 1892, the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD, has been decorated with art made from corn. Here's the Corn Palace in corn mozaic:

Penance
I am a bad blogger. Really bad. It's already the eighth of September and I haven't posted a single photo yet this month. So here's a bunch of photos from Haarlem to make up for the long gap. Start with the magnificent ceiling at St. Bavo's Church in Haarlem. The date on the tower says 1520, but apparently it's even older than that.
